Stuff and Thanksgiving Break

November 16, 2006 at 10:05 pm | In Thanksgiving, bored, break, coke, group project, jack daniels, soda, whiskey | No Comments

ohhh crap… I guess I havent written for a while.  Sorry people, i’ve just been crazy busy the past 2 weeks.  I got a huge group project assigned a couple of weeks ago and we have to write a instructional lesson plan for mixing jack daniels whiskey w/ coke using standard bar measurements.  Sounds simple?? NO.  Thats what we thought too!  This whole project is probably gonna end up being over 20 pages!  Whats frustrating is that our teacher wants it to be broke down to the smallest possible detail.  For example…how much whiskey, how much coke, what kind of plastic cup, what kind of mixing utensil, , what audience this would be intended for, and last but not least what is a standard bar measurement?  Gets down deep, big time.  Last night we had to video tape our procedure to make this, which was a blast, except for the part that we didnt know what to say at first.  After the video we ended up and got pretty liquored up for our own project!

On another note, I’m gonna be home for the whoooole Thanksgiving break.  Sounds cool, kinda, for the relaxtion part.  But I have limited friend resources at home, since everyone is moved away!  CALL me or something, pleaseeee.

Britney files for Divorce

I usually don’t give a crap about celebrity gossip but I found this to be pretty interesting..  Britney Spears is saying bye-bye to K-Fed. She filed for divorce Tuesday from her husband, former backup dancer and rapper Kevin Federline. The Los Angeles County Superior Court filing cites “irreconcilable differences,” said court spokeswoman Kathy Roberts.  Haha, wow, she finally realized that he was worthless all this time.  Too bad she just had a baby w/ him…

Anyways, thought that was some pretty interesting news for all of you!

Haunted Tour of Macomb

Saturday night, Amy and I went to the haunted tour of Macomb!  They only ended up charging us $10 b/c we had a small group.  First, we went to basement of the courthouse, which turned out to be a lot spookier than I imagined.  Through the way of the courthouse, the leaders would tell some haunting stories that happened there to set the mood.  As we walked through and went up to the higher levels, they told us that they had motion lights here in the courthouse and they are known to turn on when no one is even near it.  Guess what, as we were all about 40 feet from that part of the courthouse, the motion lights came on.  Hmmmmm.  I don’t know.  Alot of people claim that they saw haunting shadows and orbs (dust, lol).  Buuutt, I didn’t see anything.

Next we walked over the the Macomb Journal building (right next to the old Maurice’s in the square).  Went to the basement, which looked alot like the basement of the house on ‘The Blair Witch Project.’  Above the Macomb Journal, there were three floors of abandoned motel rooms.  We went to the 3rd floor, where they called the floor of evil.  They even dubbed one of the room’s “The Satan Room.”  I did not go near!  That sort of stuff freaks me out!  There was a long hallway, and they had people walk down the dark black hallway alone.  Some said they heard voices, knocks, evil shadows.  I was ready to get out of there!  After there, we walked all the way across the square and went into the basement of an Antique building.  There was NOTHING special about that place.  They had just mentioned that it used to be an old morgue and burned bodies.  The tour ended up lasting around 2 1/2 hours in all.  Definitely worth going.  I recommend going next year…
