I never thought id have to take time and pour my feelings about all the people bitching about the new Windows Vista coming out soon. All i’m reading is about how much its gonna suck, and how long Microsoft took to develop the new OS, blah blah blah…. you get the point.

What people need to realize are the real facts that Vista isnt gonna be all that bad. Windows is and always will be the favored OS. Dont get me wrong, I own a Mac, but this is pretty much based on the average computer user). Microsoft is taking their time so that they can prevent all the errors XP created.

Ok, everyone rants on how unsecure XP is; which is true. What the everyone needs to realize is that no matter what, people are always gonna be writing viruses, trojans, etc. This will always happen b/c Windows is the dominant OS. If no one used Windows anymore, honestly what would be the fun in writing a virus that will crash your friends pc? Now that Macinstosh is starting to become more popular again with their dual-core intel based systems, guess what…. ive already seen a few viruses deployed.

Yup, no matter what Microsoft and Apple will battle and always be compared. Vista actually has alot to offer and has a pretty cool new interface, not to mention the new search bar, shell, upgraded applications to be more user friendly, IE7, better security, and more but I just dont feel like typing.

Free Whoppers whenever you want

On my recent trip to Burger King I made a little departure from my main stay and decided to do a little covert ops.

I found the coupon code book for free whoppers and chicken sandwiches. All you have to do is get a reciept from a burger king that has a survey box on the back. Instead of calling the number and wasting your time just follow these instructions for free no hassle food.

Here are the instructions:

  • Find a reciept with the telephone survey on the back.
  • Where it says to write the code and place the two letter code followed by 5 numbers (hint: Numbers do not have to be in any order or value except that there has to be five of them) for which month you are currently in.
  • Example: WH 12345 the only thing they will check are the two letters.
  • You still have to buy any size fry or drink but you will always get a free sandwich of your choosing.

Month Codes:

Based on which month your are in choose the two letters that coincide with that month.

  1. Jan = BB
  2. Feb = LS
  3. Mar = JH
  4. April = PL
  5. May = BK
  6. June = WH
  7. July = FF
  8. Aug = BF
  9. Sept = CF
  10. Oct = CK
  11. Nov = CB
  12. Dec = VM

Sorry I didnt post anything yesterday, I ended up and had 2 tests to study for today. K, here goes….

We left for Moline around 5ish Tuesday for the concert and the concert was supposed to start at 7pm. It ended up being around 6:45 when we got in the city and we decided that maybe we should grab some Mickey D’s before we go. Well, we saw no arches and the one that we were gonna go to ended up bein tore down. Ughhh. No biggy, we thought. So, all we needed to do was go over the bridge and be there. Little did we know, there was a 4-car pile up on the bridge we were supposed to cross. It ended up and took us about 25 mins to cross and then the others that were goin w/ us, decided to not take the exit they were supposed to and ended up having to turn completely around. In a huge nutshell, we didnt get into the concert til 7:45 or so.

At that time Hinder was on their last song “Get Stoned,” dammit. We missed Hinder; That was okay cuz ive seen em before. Next was Chevelle and they performed pretty well. Few wrong keys sometimes. After Chevelle, Hoobastank came out and rocked the house. I didnt expect them to really take over the crowd, but they put on a hell of a show. I recommend listening to their new song “Inside of you,” which you can pretty much guess what its about by lookin at the name. Hoobastank’s singer was like, “yeah, so, this songs about fuckingggg.” Ok well it was awesome when he said it there (you had to be there lol). We then waited about 45 mins for Nickelback’s shit to get set up. Nickelback ended up and played for about an hour and a half. At one point in the show, Chad Kroeger (singer, guitarist) asked the audience if we had the new album and of course everyone screamed. He’s like, “you didnt download it did you????” hahaha. Crowd went kinda soft lol. He’s like, “AHHH who cares as long as you know the words!” So, he was cool about that. ALLLLright, so that was the show. Definitely worth seein!  I was gonna post some video’s but i put them on my computer and it turned out reallllly crappy to where you really couldnt even tell what song it was.

Finally, i’m back at school.  I moved in Tuesday cuz get to work the week before school starts.   Ughhhh, i just dont want the studies part of school to start. Ummm, its been a pretty boring week, i really dont have much to say……

Yo, my lease is up here at Northside Rentals on the 31st of this month.  Tomorrow I decided that I’m just gonna leave on Saturday.  So long Macomb, im not missing anything!  Tonight, allll im gonna do is pack and move my stuff to my storage unit here in town. 

On a better note, I’m off work for 2 weeks!  Im also gonna be able to move into Higgins on the 15th and work the rest of that week before everyone moves in.  Wooowho….

BTW, im hoping to buy the domain:  Paynesonline.com  since BPOnline.com is taken.  Otherwise, i cant think of any other cool .com names for my website.  Any suggestions???? I’m also working on making my web page more navigational…

So, pretty much, the summer is already half over.  I cant believe how fast its gone already.  I’m glad that I finally got this website up and running.  Annnnd I really would like your comments and suggestions about how this site appeals to you.  FYI, I’m still adding things here and there.
